Create a Recurring Product

ShoutCMS allows you to create Recurring Products or services such as a membership or subscription in which payments are made at specified intervals. The duration of the payments can be configured for a fixed or continuous period.

Action Steps to Create a Basic Product

 

1. Click the [Add Recurring Product] button from the drop down next to [Add Product]
   
2. Enter the Title of the product
   
   
3. Click [Select Placement] to select the Pages you would like to add the product to. Click [Okay]
   
   
4. Enter the retail price.
   
   
5. Upload product images from your computer
1. Click [Edit] Next to Images
2. Click [Upload]
3. Click [Add Files] and select the files from your computer
   
4. Click [Upload]
5. Ensure your gallery is set to [Gallery On]
6. The image that is highlighted in yellow with a star will be the image used on the storefront.
7. Click [Okay]
   
   
6. Enter the product description using the content editor. Describing your products in detail will help your customers purchase your products. We have some pre-configured templates that you can use. 
   
   
7. To add additional product details including:  product options, shipping details, inventory and the recurring billing cycle options click the product option tab.
   
   
8. Expand the recurring product tab, set the billing cycle as needed.
1. Billing Cycle: enter the frequency of invoicing
2. Term Duration: enter the duration
   
   
9. Once you have configured your product click [Save]
