Setting up a Canada Post Shipping Account

General Description:

Canada Post is one of the methods that you can use to ship your product to your customers. ShoutCMS helps by automatically calculating the shipping charges your customers will be paying. 

 

Action steps to setting up a Canada Post account as a shipping method:


  1. Download and review this document from Canada Post: Sell Online Shipping Module Standard Features Implementation Guide
  2. Apply to Canada Post to receive your "Merchant ID"
  3. In ShoutCMS visit the Settings page and click “Shipping Methods”.
  4. In the “Merchant ID” section enter your Canada Post Retailer ID. ex. CPC_NAME
  5. The Server IP will almost always be sellonline.canadapost.ca
  6. Complete filling out your desired options and click the “Update” button. 
  7. Once you have your Retail ID and have entered it into ShoutCMS, log onto your Canada Post Account at http://sellonline.canadapost.ca/servlet/LogonServlet to configure your account.
